What is Title I
Title I is a K-12 program that provides additional academic support and learning opportunities for students at schools with an identified percentage of socioeconomically disadvantaged children. NCS is a Targeted Title I school. With a poverty rate less than 40%, NCS has been granted funds to support students who have been identified as having the greatest need for special assistance either because they are failing or are at risk of failing to meet state academic standards.

NCS Title I: Parents' Right to KnowAt Neuse Charter School, we believe that parents have the right to fully understand and have access to the credentials of their child’s teacher. Parents may request information about staff members' credentials at any time and in their native language. Please ask your child's Administrator about how to do make this request.
Parents also have the right to understand and access know Neuse Charter School is performing at the state level. Therefore, we have linked the North Carolina School Report Card which provides detailed information about our school performance here. |
