Athletic Mission Statement & Core Values
The mission of the Neuse Charter Athletic Department is to cultivate a culture of excellence, leadership, strength, and sportsmanship among our student-athletes, embodying the spirit of the Cougars. Through comprehensive athletic programs and a commitment to honor, integrity, and teamwork, we aim to empower our Cougars to achieve their highest potential academically, athletically, and personally. By fostering a culture of leadership and inclusivity, promoting lifelong wellness, and preparing our student-athletes to be confident and self-reliant at all times, we strive to exemplify the academic Portrait of a Cougar characteristics in our athletic program.

The High School athletic teams compete in the North Carolina High School Athletics Association (NCHSAA) Carolina 1 A conference.
The Middle School athletic teams compete in the JCCS - Johnston County Choice Schools Conference.

Athletics is divided into 3 seasons. Teams may be limited due to the numbers of participants.

Gate and Attendance for HOME EVENTS will all be cashless through the GOFan App. The web address is https://gofan.co/app/school/NC52003. QR codes will be present at ticket gates unless crowds are limited.

Student Tryout Information
For a student to be eligible to try out the following things are needed:
- A current valid sports physical (front filled out by parent and back signed and completed by a doctor) turned in to the athletic department.
- The student must be enrolled as a full-time student and be eligible based on the NCHSAA, NCDPI and Neuse Charter School Academic Eligibility policies.
