Neuse Charter School's employees receive annual training each year on Title IX policies at the beginning of each academic year.  For the current academic year, employees received training in August via Vector Training: Title IX Compliance Overview.  This training explained how Title IX protects students and employees from sex-based discrimination and harassment. This course is designed for K-12 faculty members to deepen their understanding of Title IX. It covers key topics such as identifying behaviors that constitute sex-based harassment and discrimination, reporting requirements, and employees’ responsibilities to provide information about the Title IX coordinator, which is Amanda Highfil, [email protected], 919-626-2300. Additionally, the NCS Title IX Coordinator, Investigators, and Decision-Maker received additional training from Stella Law, LLC in August. The training is linked here.
