Upper Academy Director - Tyler Grady
Prior to joining Neuse Charter School, Tyler Grady served for three years as an Assistant Principal at North Duplin Jr/Sr High School for grades 7-12. At North Duplin, Mr. Grady was responsible for busing, discipline, and testing. Mr. Grady also worked as a math teacher at Heide Trask High School and North Brunswick High School for a total of nine years. Mr. Grady became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2018. During Mr. Grady’s time as a teacher, he coached various sports and served as School Improvement Team Chair at Heide Trask. Mr. Grady is also a 2007 North Johnston High School graduate and attended University of North Carolina at Wilmington as a Teaching Fellow. Mr. Grady completed his Masters in School Administration degree from UNCW in 2021.
Mr. Grady and his wife Morgan have a four year old daughter named Brooklyn. They enjoy spending time together as a family as much as possible.
Mr. Grady is excited to be returning home to Johnston County and working at Neuse Charter School. He looks forward to working with all the wonderful staff members and students at our school.
