Enrollment Process
Enrollment in Neuse Charter School is conducted each year through an enrollment lottery. Applications for the lottery are made available on the School's website in November of each year. Names collected through the application process are drawn on the third Thursday in January. Applications MUST be submitted by no later than 12:00 PM on the day before the drawing to be included in the lottery.
Availability of seats is based on the number of returning students in each grade level. Students not seated during the lottery process will be added to the waitlist for their indicated grade level in the order that their name was drawn during the lottery process. Applications received after the cutoff date for the lottery will be added to the bottom of the waitlist by the order in which they were received.

NCS is currently accepting applications for the 2026-27 academic year waitlist. Applications received will be added to the bottom of the waitlist in the order received.
