Exceptional Children Director - Jamie Johnson
Mrs. Johnson was born and raised in Johnston County. She received
undergraduate degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education, as well as a Master’s Degree in Special Education from East Carolina University. Her previous work experience spans from teaching students with special needs in a variety of settings in grades K-12. Having taught students with special needs for 17 years, she understands how important it is to serve students with special needs appropriately.
This vast experience drives her passion as the Exceptional Children’s
Director. She has been a part of the NCS family for the last four years.
Mrs. Johnson and her husband have two children ages 12 and 14. In her
