12/9-12/13 weekly Update

• There are 7 days left in the first Semester. Parents please encourage your children to use their time wisely and complete missing assignments. Also reach out to your child's teacher to set up times for them to attend Curriculum Assistance from 12:25-12:50. 
• Middle School Map Testing will be Thursday (12/12) and Friday (12/13) this week. Please have students bring their charged devices for testing those days. 
• Check-in #2 for Biology will be next Monday (12/16) and Tuesday (12/17). 
• Thank you to everyone who attended the band concert Friday night. The hard work of each band could be heard in their performances! 
• The members of the the Girls on the Run team participated in a celebratory 5K on Saturday in Cary. We are proud of those girls who braved the cold weather! A picture of the group who participated is right below!

• NCS Cross Country/Winter Track teams came together Saturday, December 7th to support children in the community in a toy drive for Harbor and Johnston County Social Services. The Grinch Stink, Stank, Stunk 5k was held at Smithfield Community Park. ​
