11/11-11/15 Weekly Update

• Monday 11/11 is Veteran's Day. Please take a moment to discuss with your child the sacrifices that Veterans have made for our country. 
• English 2 Check-in's will be Thursday 11/14 and Friday 11/15.
• Math 1 and Math 3 Check-in's will be Tuesday 11/19 and Wednesday 11/20. 
• Congratulations to our varsity boys soccer team who won their first round playoff game Friday against Gates County by a score of 3-1. The boys soccer team will play their second round game Tuesday 11/12 at Vance Charter. Kick off is 3:30. 
• Friendly reminder about the Sadie Hawkins dance this Friday 11/15 from 8-10. Students must bring an item on the Neuse Giving flyer to attend. 
• Wrestling practice will be Wednesday 11/13 to Friday 11/15. Students must have an updated physical and information in dragonfly to participate.
• There will be a Herff Jones Cap and Gown Presentation on campus Friday 11/15 during lunch in room 301. Additionally a Junior Class Ring Presentation will take place in room 209 beginning at 12:25.
• Parents, you will be receiving a letter from Dr. Blackwell this week regarding attendance. The data in the letter references our 7th grade check-in's that were completed last week. Please know that attendance is directly tied to your child's ability to perform at a high level in school.
