10/28-11/1 Weekly Update

• This week is Red Ribbon Week for drug awareness. The flyer is attached below: 

• There will be a Bullying Prevention Assembly take place in the gym on Wednesday at 12:30. This is for all Upper Academy grade levels.
• Congratulations to Bella Strickland who qualified for the Cross County State Championship! Bella placed 12th in the Regional Championship and will compete Saturday 11/2 for the State Championship!
• Tuesday 10/29, all 10th and 11th grade students who signed up will take the NMSQT/PSAT in Mr. King or Ms. Hill's room. Parents please ensure students have their charged devices for the assessment.
• Friday 11/1 is a teacher workday.
• The Varsity Soccer team will host the first round of the Carolina 1-A Conference Championship Monday 10/28 at Talton Field. Neuse Charter will host North Duplin at 5:00. Union will play Rosewood immediately following.
