About the Senior Academy

The Senior Academy at Neuse Charter School provides students with an opportunity to participate in Honors, AP, and college level courses. Classroom instruction is rigorous and teachers provide the necessary supports to ensure success for all students. Throughout their high school career students participate in Cougar Time where lifelong skills are taught such as critical thinking, problem solving, effective time management, and self-advocacy. 
 
In order to develop well-rounded citizens our students also participate in activities outside of school hours. Through sports, clubs, and field trips students can explore their interests and develop life-long friendships.
 
We are proud that at Neuse Charter School, we push our students academically and support them socially and emotionally. The balance of the two helps to ensure that we exhibit Excellence in Developing College Ready Graduates.
