Greetings from lower academy

​Thank you everyone for a fantastic start to the 2024-2025 school year! It has been wonderful to see so many smiles and witnessing such great learning taking place.

At NCS, we emphasize the importance of educating the whole child and promoting the character trait values displayed by our Cougar Cubs.
To honor these values, we will be recognizing a student each month from every grade level who exemplifies the following values, traits, and virtues:
August - Respect
September - Communication
October - Empathy
November - Gratitude
December - Creativity
January - Leadership
February - Integrity
March - Teamwork
April - Responsibility
May - Perseverance

Students will be chosen for this award based on the number of character trait DOJO points they earn for their grade level. Recipients will receive a character education certificate, be acknowledged on the morning announcements, and their photos will be featured on the Cougars with Character bulletin board.

Please remember that Friday, September 20, 2024, is a teacher workday! On October 10th and 11th, we will be holding our Fall parent-teacher conferences. This will be an opportunity for you to visit the campus, see your student's classroom, and meet with the teacher. For the upcoming week, I challenge each of you to read with your child!
